How the score works

Each style gets a score from 0 to 100. Higher means harder to find. It blends four signals:

Shelf availability (45%): how often stores near real shoppers had it in stock over the past week, from our Target and Dollar General checks.
Retailer coverage (25%): styles sold at fewer chains are harder to find.
Newness (15%): this year's releases get snapped up first.
Hunter demand (15%): how many sightings people post for it.

Styles with no recent stock checks start from a neutral availability score until shoppers search for them. Tiers: 75+ Ultra rare, 55+ Rare, 35+ Uncommon, below that Easy to find.

FAQ

What is the rarest NeeDoh right now?+

Right now Candy Swirl Nice Cube tops our ranking with a score of 58. The ranking moves as stores restock, so check back.

Does rare mean expensive?+

Not in stores: rare styles still sell at regular retail price when you find them. Resale prices go up for rare styles, so it pays to set a restock alert instead of buying from resellers.
