About Needoh Finder

Needoh Finder started as a way to stop driving to three stores for one sold-out squishy. It checks store shelves near your ZIP, collects sightings from other hunters, and emails you when something you want shows up nearby.

Where the data comes from

• Target: store-level stock for the 20 Target stores nearest the ZIP you search, refreshed at most every 15 minutes per area.
• Dollar General: store-level stock for the nearest stores, for the items DG carries.
• Walmart and Five Below: neither publishes store stock, so we rely on sightings from people who were just there.

Retailer systems lag the real shelf, sometimes by hours. Reserve a pickup or call ahead before a long drive.

We keep request rates low

We cache results by area so thousands of searches don't become thousands of requests to a retailer, cap how often any area refreshes, and never hammer a retailer's site.
