What we collect

• ZIP codes you search. Used to look up nearby store stock. We store the ZIP and its 3-digit area to cache results and see which areas are popular. Your browser also remembers your last ZIP locally.
• Email address (only if you sign up). For restock alerts or checklist sync. We send only the emails you asked for, and every alert has a one-click unsubscribe. We never sell or rent your email.
• Sightings you post. Style, store, ZIP area and your optional note are public for 48 hours. To stop spam we keep a salted, one-way hash of your IP address. We never store the IP itself.
• Checklist. Saved in your browser. If you turn on sync, we store the list with your email.
• Clicks to stores. When you tap a store link we record the store, product and page (not who you are) to learn which links are useful.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (with IP anonymization) to understand traffic and which features get used, and Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which measure page views and page speed without cookies. Google's use of data is covered by Google's privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.

Advertising and cookies

We may show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalized ads at Google Ad Settings or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.

Links to retailers may be affiliate links (Amazon Associates, Impact, eBay Partner Network). If you buy something, the retailer may set its own cookies to credit us. See our affiliate disclosure.

Bot protection

Forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots. Turnstile processes limited browser data under Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Service providers

Hosting by Vercel, database by Convex, email delivery by Resend. They process data only to run this site.

Kids

Needoh Finder is a general-audience site. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Email features are meant for parents and teens 13 and older. If you believe a child under 13 has given us an email, contact us and we'll delete it.

Your choices

Unsubscribe from any alert with the link in the email. To delete your email and checklist entirely, email us from that address and we'll remove it within 30 days. California and other US state residents can request access to or deletion of their data the same way.
